Our goal is to create a comprehensive resource to benefit the community.

Suppliers will be listed in classified format, categorized by the type of equipment or materials offered. We will list any and all contact info you wish to provide, including address, link to your website, etc.

Supplier listings will be placed in more than one category where appropriate. Please feel free to suggest categories, and/or submit separate listings with information pertinent to specific categories. Also let us know if you are a retail store only, wholesale only, internet or mail order only.

Let us know if your club or organisation serves a LOCAL or INTERNATIONAL member base. Also let us know if you publish an email newsletter that is available to the general public. We will include any contact info that you wish, including links to your website.


Trade Shows and Events

Send your trade show announcements for immmediate listing. Shows will be listed by Month; you can send your show announcements a year or more in advance if you wish. Be sure to include contact info, location, whether wholesale only or open to the public, etc.

Large shows, or those who provide sufficient information in ther press releases, will be featured on the front page and/or other news pages where appropriate. Please use this email address to add us to your press release mailing list: news(at)lapidaryzone(dot)org


Stone Cutters, Jewelry Designers, Photographers, Artists:

At the initial realease of the Lapidary Zone site, these will be listed/categorized in classified format. Shortly afterward, we will add full-page features. So feel free to send as much promotional information as you want (photographs, promotional write-ups, etc.) Think of it as a free full-page ad to promote you or your product/service! We will also post a link to your website if you have one.


Writers:

Articles on any relevant subject are welcome; How-To-Do-Or-Make, Stories about Rockhounding adventures (or misadventures), Informative articles about Gemstones and Minerals, Reports by Show Attendees, are welcome and appreciated. As Lapidary Zone is not a commercial enterprise, we cannot pay for articles, but we will give full credit: We will include info about you or your business, so that you get promotional exposure by virtue of your article being included. If you are a member of Google's Adsense program, we will include YOUR adsense code on the pages containing your submitted material, so that you may collect revenue from pages that contain your provided material. See our Revenue Policy.


Classes/Educational:

If you or your organization offer classes in jewelry making, gem stone cutting, metal fabrication or any other relevant discipline, send in relevant info including locations, schedules, website, etc.

If you publish a Lapidary/Jewelry Making/Gemstone-related newsletter or magazine, send subscription info. We will also post a link to your website if you have one.


Suggestions:

Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Creating this directory will be a new experience for us, and to be quite frank, nothing is set in stone yet as far as site structure, categorization themes, etc. We are not looking for a free ride from anybody; if you help us in any way to make this directory great, we will do all that we can to help you to promote your product or service on our site. Hopefully it will be a community effort where all involved parties benefit.
