Information About Chalcedony: Chalcedony is a variety of quartz. It is also sometimes called Agate, but that term usually only refers to the banded varieties.

SHAPES FOR CUTTING: Best suited for all cobochon shapes, but is sometimes faceted to cushion cut and other stable facets.
