Information About Hiddenite:
Green variety of the spodumene gemstone family.
This stone was named after A. E. Hidden, who was the superintendent of the mine in North Carolina where it was first discovered.
Note: True hiddenite gets it color from chromium. Lighter green spodumene stones are sometimes mistaken for hiddenite.

SHAPES FOR CUTTING: Suitable for faceting in all shapes, though cushion cut tends to be favored.
